ABOUT ME
I’m Justen Deifel — a visual media specialist based in Germany, working with clients worldwide. My work spans photography, videography, and digital visuals, with a particular focus on motion design, animation, VFX, and live event production.
Over the past several years, I’ve built a practice around projects that move between disciplines: documentary photography one week, animated explainer content the next, a multi-projector stage setup the week after. I’ve taught motion design at universities and in corporate settings, and I bring that same clarity of structure into client work — whether the brief is a single product shot or a full live production.
Background in brief:
• Six years producing motion design and animation for international clients
• Multi-year teaching experience in motion design and photography
• Cross-disciplinary work across photography, video, VFX, projection mapping, and live events.
The way I work:
I treat every project as a problem to understand before it’s a brief to execute. Good visuals don’t come from templates — they come from knowing what the work needs to do, who it speaks to, and where it lives. I care about technical precision because it’s the floor, not the ceiling. The interesting part starts above it: rhythm, restraint, the decision to leave something out.
If you’re planning something that needs to look right and hold up under real conditions — let’s talk.
